This is not just a shift supervisory role.
A Shift Manager at Lineage is a senior operational leader – a trusted decision-maker who sets the tone for the entire shift and is a visible safety champion on the floor.
You will play a pivotal role in creating an environment where people feel supported, know what success looks like and are empowered to perform at their best.
About the Role
As Shift Manager, you will own the operational outcomes of your shift – leading warehouse and transport activities across Inbound, Production and Outbound.
You will coach and guide your team with clarity and consistency, driving a culture where safety is instinctive, performance is expected and accountability is shared.
Your focus will be on:
Delivering safe, efficient and compliant operations
Coaching and developing engaged, high-performing team members
Creating structure and clarity to enable your team to succeed
Continuously improving processes, costs and service outcomes
You will be a key influencer on site, partnering closely with stakeholders across Operations, Safety, HR, Transport, Engineering and Finance.
Key Responsibilities
Lead daily warehouse operations and coordinate activities to execute the site plan
Be a visible safety leader – embedding our Zero Harm mindset and ensuring compliance with CoR, FSANZ, HACCP and food safety requirements
Deliver customer outcomes through accurate, on-time and in-full performance
Manage labour, inventory integrity, MHE performance and service-level KPIs
Build capability through coaching, 1:1s, feedback, and succession planning
Monitor cost performance and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Provide timely reporting and insights to support operational decision-making
About You
You are a people-first leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and leads with clarity, fairness and consistency.

You will bring:
Experience in logistics/transport operations (retail/FMCG advantageous)
Operational expertise in multi-temperature environments
Strong commercial acumen – comfortable managing KPIs, cost levers and labour plans
Confidence in coaching and performance leadership
Excellent communication and stakeholder influence
Knowledge of compliance, safety and regulatory standards
WMS/TMS experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office
