The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate & experienced full-time Residential Showroom Consultant to join our growing team at our Melbourne Showroom, starting immediately, working Monday – Friday.
Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, the successful candidate will provide exceptional client relationship skills to ensure that our clients are nurtured, guided and receive a high level of customer service in line with District's standards and the Brands we represent.
Responsibilities
Role Focus: Cultivate opportunities that strengthen District's presence within the residential design community.
Build Relationships: Develop and maintain strong connections with residential architects & interior designers.
Customer Experience: Deliver exceptional service to every visitor, reflecting District's standards.
Timely Responses: Respond to all client and designer enquiries within ***** hours.
Design Specification: Collaborate with interior designers to integrate District's collections into residential projects with attention to aesthetic and functional outcomes.
Client Engagement: Maintain proactive communication and follow-up on project enquiries and proposals to ensure seamless client experiences and successful outcomes.
Product Knowledge: Maintain deep understanding of District's Brands and collections to provide tailored solutions.
Sales Reporting: Monitor and report on client engagement, quotations, project progress & sales weekly to the Regional Sales Manager for ongoing portfolio development.
Showroom Presentation: Maintain an exceptional showroom environment that reflects District's design standards and delivers a memorable client experience.
Brand & Events Collaboration: Partner with the Brand and Product Team on marketing initiatives, events, and styling projects to enhance showroom visibility and reinforce brand alignment.
Wholesale & Online Sales Support: Assist with processing orders from our wholesale accounts, along with orders from our online store.
Qualifications
Previous experience in sales, preferably within a similar showroom setting.
Attention to detail & care for high value items.
Initiative and problem-solving skills.
Customer-service focused.
Coachable and the ability to follow instructions.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including an excellent telephone manner.
