Our client is a tier-one Private Wealth Advisory Firm seeking to hire an Associate Advisor to join their Sydney team supporting 2 leading private client advisers and their HNW clients.
Working closely with the firm's Partners and Advisers, you will play an active role in delivering tailored, high-quality advice to the families we work with. This role provides hands-on exposure across the full advice process, including client reviews, advisory meetings, portfolio analysis, and business development initiatives. The position is fast-paced and client-facing, requiring strong organisation, attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities while contributing to client acquisition, retention, and continuous improvement across the advice and client service functions
The ideal background will be someone with around circa 3-5+ years experience in stockbroking or private wealth advisory support such as a Dealers Assistant / Desk Assistant / Advisers assistant role.
On a day-to-day basis, your responsibilities will include:
* Work closely with Partners and Advisers to deliver high-quality, tailored advice to clients.
* Support client reviews, advisory meetings, and ongoing relationship management.
* Contribute to investment analysis, portfolio reviews, and preparation of advice documentation.
* Support portfolio implementation, monitoring, and rebalancing activities.
* Ensure advice delivery aligns with compliance and internal governance standards.
* Contribute to improving advice processes and the overall client experience.
Experience:
Our ideal candidate will bring:
* 3-5 years' experience as CSA, operations or similar investment support role within a wholesale or HNW environment.
* Diploma/Grad Diploma of Financial Planning looked at favorably, as would commencing CFA, CIMA, or CFP.
* Strong understanding of the advice process and a clear ambition to progress toward an Adviser role over time.
* Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
* Confident written and verbal communication skills, with a professional and credible client-facing approach.
* Analytical mindset, with experience supporting portfolio analysis, client reviews, and advice documentation.
* Proficiency across Microsoft Office and familiarity with CRM and investment platforms.
* A collaborative team player who takes ownership, shows initiative, and is motivated to grow with the firm.
