About The Role
Band 3 – Base salary approx $118,000 + Super, including a 9-day fortnight
Within our Works Delivery – Electrical Services team, we have a Work Group Coordinator (WGC) vacancy. This role plays a critical part in the safe and efficient delivery of work. (both customer-driven and network maintenance) and covers a range of functions including -
* Coordination of various in field activities that support a range of stakeholders
* Scheduling of internal and external resources in conjunction with stakeholders across the business
* Scoping of works (including equipment, materials, and resources)
* Organising effective network outages
* Leading and fostering a culture of safety first within the team
* Liaising with customers, external service providers and stakeholders
* Leading and supporting the work crews in the technical aspects of the work
Over the course of the initial 6 months, this WGC role will have a heavy maintenance focus, whilst this area becomes up to speed.
About You
Your strong leadership skills, exceptional communication abilities, and a keen attention to detail will see you succeed in this role. Your ability to solve problems and make effective, timely decisions whilst providing professional and accurate technical advice will be highly regarded.
You will have a Tasmanian electrical practitioner's licence (or have the ability to obtain) with demonstrated experience in providing high quality outcomes in complex environments.
You will be available to perform overtime and participate in an on-call roster, highlighting a strong safety first focus, whilst consistently looking for business improvements and ensuring customer satisfaction is maintained.
