The Team
The Ashley Youth Detention Centre is located outside of Deloraine, Tasmania and is the only such centre in Tasmania. The facility is designed to help young people in a custodial environment get their lives back on track, so they can participate fully on their return to the community.
About The Role
In a multi-skilled and dynamic environment, provide a wide range of administrative services to Centre clients, staff and management to support business activities and projects.

Essential
We are looking for:
- Current Tasmanian Registration to Work with Vulnerable People (RWVP) with a registration Status – Employment
- The Head of the State Service has determined that the person nominated for this job is to satisfy a pre-employment check before taking up the appointment, on promotion or transfer. The following checks are to be conducted:
- 1 Conviction Checks In The Following Areas: crimes of violence, sex related offences, reliable drug offences, crimes involving dishonesty, serious traffic offences
- 2 Identification check
- 3 Disciplinary actions in previous employment check
