Job Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled Accountant to join our national accounting team, supporting regional construction business in Victoria and South Australia.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the finance team with various tasks including accounts receivable and invoicing; financial and management reporting; forecasting and variance analysis; general ledger maintenance; business partnering and continual process improvement.
This role requires technical accounting knowledge together with strong administrative and analytical skills. The ideal candidate will possess tertiary qualifications in Business, Accounting or Finance and be pursuing or willing to pursue CA/CPA qualifications.
The role also requires excellent communication skills, experience with finance systems and processes, and the ability to meet deadlines and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist the finance team with accounts receivable and invoicing
* Prepare financial and management reports
* Perform forecasting and variance analysis
* Maintain general ledger and ensure accuracy of financial data
* Partner with business units to improve financial performance and efficiency
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have:
* Tertiary qualifications in Business, Accounting or Finance
* CA/CPA qualification or willingness to pursue
