Job Description:
We are currently recruiting a 6-month contractual Accounts and Payroll Specialist for a leading commercial organization.
This role is within a dynamic finance environment in the finance division, where colleagues are engaged, friendly, and value ideas.
The position involves assisting the finance team with debt collection, invoice processing, reconciliations, and payroll management.
Responsibilities:
* Handling accounts payable and receivable tasks, including invoicing, payment follow-up, and bill payments.
* Adding new suppliers to the system.
* Vendor and supplier reconciliations.
* Running payroll for approximately 90 staff and contractors, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
* Maintaining employee records, including leave and pay changes.
* Performing other administrative and accounting duties as required.
Requirements:
* At least 3 years of experience in accounting and payroll.
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention to detail skills.
* Proficiency with Excel and large data sets.
* MYOB experience is preferred.
