Position Overview
We are seeking a passionate Diploma Room Leader to join the team at our Condobolin Centre. This is ahands on, on the floor role where you will lead a room, mentor educators, implement high quality programs, and support children's growth, curiosity, and development.
Responsibilities
· Lead and inspire a team of educators in your room through on-the-floor mentoring and support.
· Plan and deliver engaging, holistic learning programs in line with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
· Create and implement engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences
· Ensure the health, safety, and wellbeing of every child in your care.
· Build positive relationships with families and support open communication.
· Collaborate with the Centre Director and Educational Leader to maintain a high-quality service.
Qualifications and Skills
· Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA-approved equivalent)
· Valid Working with Children Check
· Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certifications
· Child Protection training/certificate
· Experience leading a room and mentoring educators
· Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skill
