About the Role
The Maintenance Supervisor will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our fleet maintenance and management team. This individual will be responsible for coordinating all workshop activities, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment is maintained at all times.
The successful candidate will have excellent leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and empower their team members to achieve exceptional results. They will also possess strong communication skills, with the ability to work closely with subcontractors and stakeholders to achieve alignment between project goals and compliance requirements.
1. Coordinate all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and servicing of mobile equipment.
2. Ensure equipment is well maintained, clean and fit for purpose and breakdowns are managed efficiently, in an appropriate timeframe.
3. Work closely and communicate with subcontractors to achieve alignment between project goals and subcontract compliance.
4. Coordinate and control ongoing maintenance to plant and equipment during major shutdown repairs.
5. Lead, demonstrate and educate employees to embrace a work environment free from discrimination, bullying and harassment where everyone is treated with respect.
About You
* Trade Qualified Plant Mechanic (Heavy Vehicle Mobile Equipment) or Electrical Trade Qualifications.
* At least 5 years mining experience with exposure to supervision of maintenance.
* Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite and JDE (desirable).
* The ability to work with cross-functional teams and build relationships with stakeholders.
* Commitment and compliance to Health and Safety at all times.
* Demonstrated mining supervisory training/qualifications or experience in a similar role.
