Provide high level evidence based psychology clinical services across the GCHHS within a collaborative multidisciplinary framework, informed by clinical supervision, consumer feedback, education, training and research.
The Role
An opportunity has become available for a Psychologist – Senior (Voluntary Assisted Dying) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.
You will
* Deliver advanced clinical assessment, formulation and care in the Psychology unit
* Provide expert clinical judgement for complex Voluntary Assisted Dying cases in the area of Psychology
* Lead psychology practice, supervision and team reflection
* Advise stakeholders using evidence-based clinical guidance in the aspects relating to psychology clinical practice
* Provide clinical practice supervision to less experienced psychologists to ensure the maintenance of professional clinical standards
About you
To be successful in this position you will require:
* Tertiary degree in Psychology
* AHPRA Registration
* Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis B
* Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required
* Driver Licence
* Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
* Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)

* Permanent part time (36 hrs p.f.)
* Base salary ranging from $ $69.55 per hour

The Gold Coast Health Voluntary Assisted Dying (VAD) Support Service provides continued, collaborative, supportive and compassionate care that respect's the person's experience and end of life requests. The model of care is multidisciplinary, providing care predominantly in the community and outpatient setting with inpatient service capabilities
