Marketing & Brand Manager - Cumberland Park

The Farquhar Group is a leading, family-owned kitchen and cabinetry manufacturer with a proud history of innovation, quality, and customer focus. The Opportunity

The Marketing & Brand Manager drives the Farquhar Group’s commercial success by shaping how our retail brands are seen, experienced, and chosen in the market. This role delivers data-led strategies and high-impact campaigns that boost sales, strengthen brand loyalty, and position the Group for sustainable growth.

Responsible for marketing strategy and execution across multiple brands and value streams, the role ensures all initiatives align with the Group’s strategic plan. It manages the marketing budget to maximise ROI, enhance brand equity, build industry partnerships, and create a lasting competitive advantage.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Marketing Leadership

- Lead a Group-wide marketing strategy to grow revenue, market share, and brand equity across retail and manufacturing.
- Use customer insights, market trends, and competitor analysis to guide data-driven decisions.
- Deliver major annual projects (Farquhar Kitchen Magazine, showroom openings/refreshes) alongside ongoing campaigns and targeted activations.
- Identify new markets, customer segments, and product opportunities.

Brand & Experience Management

- Ensure consistent brand identity across all channels and touchpoints.
- Oversee showroom presentation, merchandising, and experiential marketing to enhance customer journeys.
- Create communications and collateral that drive acquisition, engagement, and retention.
- Manage online reputation with timely, proactive responses.

Campaigns, Content & Activations

- Plan and optimise multi-channel campaigns to drive traffic, leads, and sales.
- Direct creative and content across digital, social, TV, radio, and print.
- Coordinate events, activations, and sponsorships to strengthen brand presence.
- Build strong supplier relationships (e.g. Fisher & Paykel, Oliveri, Laminex) to co-create initiatives and enhance product offering.
- Leverage joint marketing opportunities and maintain loyalty programs for repeat and trade customers.

Media & Data-Driven Marketing

- Work with agencies to deliver targeted media plans.
- Measure channel performance to optimise spend and impact.

Performance & Budget Management

- Track and report on KPIs, ROI, and customer sentiment (NPS).
- Manage the marketing budget for maximum ROI and provide strategic recommendations to leadership.

What you’ll bring

This role requires proficiency in:

- Content & Website Management: WordPress, Meta Business Suite, Adobe Creative Suite.
- Analytics & Survey Tools: Google Analytics, SurveyMonkey.
- Data & Reporting: Advanced Microsoft Excel and analytical skills essential.

This role requires someone who has:

- A Bachelor Degree (or higher) in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- At least 3–5 years management experience as a Marketing and/or Brand Manager in a multi-brand, multi-channel environment
- Proven experience in developing and delivering strategic marketing plans aligned to broader business objectives.
- Demonstrated ability to manage marketing budgets and deliver measurable ROI across multiple campaigns and initiatives.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to interpret data, market trends, and customer insights to inform decision-making.
