Role Description
We have an exciting opportunity for a Supply Chain Support Officer to join our Maritime Sustainment Supply Chain Team at Osborne, SA. The role involves establishing, placing and managing contracting arrangements with subcontractors and suppliers to deliver cost, schedule, quality and safety requirements. Flexible working arrangements, including a 9‐day fortnight, are available upon discussion.
Core Duties
* Supplier induction management, coordinating induction requests and visitor requests.
* Requisition management, raising supply chain items, work confirmations, and assisting with cost codes.
* Invoice management, processing work order confirmations, resolving invoices on hold and discrepancies.
* Purchase order management and generation of overdue commitment reporting.
* Assisting with scheduling delivery/collection of supplier onsite equipment.
* Coordinating Approved Supplier List (ASL) approvals and onboarding new suppliers, communicating with onboarding team and suppliers.
Qualifications & Skills
* Previous exposure to supply chain desirable.
* Tertiary qualification in supply chain or commercial business highly regarded.
* Advanced user of MS Office, particularly Excel & Word.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills adaptable to various teams.
* Strong attention to detail.
* Ability to balance conflicting priorities and deliver against customer and business requirements with stakeholder management.
