About the Role

As Category Manager, you'll bring a semi‐senior, entrepreneurial mindset to building and executing the category strategy leveraging strong market understanding, commercial launch excellence, and deep analytical capability to turn data into actionable insights. With full accountability for delivering financial objectives, you'll be empowered to run your category end‐to‐end.
What You'll Do
* Work with the Product Line Director to build and execute the ANZ strategic plan for your categories through strong cross‐functional collaboration across the business.
* Ensure local market requirements for your categories are reflected in the product generation plans owned by the business area product line.
* Engage in a range of activities that enable increased speed to market and operational excellence, spending time with customers and the sales team to provide specialist insights and increase brand confidence.
* Work closely with finance to lead the development of commercial business cases for new product launches, general strategic planning and tactical initiatives.
* Participate in the commercial triangle (Marketing, Sales, Product Line) to ensure alignment across the commercial agenda, launch planning and execution.
* Collaborate with the demand‐flow team to maximize efficiency in the S&OP process.
* Prepare an annual strategic plan and actively involve in the category budgeting process, leading regular progress reviews with ANZ leaders and APAC & MEA business area through monthly and quarterly meeting & reporting cycles.
* Manage the product portfolio lifecycle for your categories in line with the broader strategic direction of relevant adjacent categories.
* Take ownership of ensuring all system data inputs are delivered on time, ensuring the business has the most up‐to‐date information concerning your product portfolio.
Who You Are
* Have solid experience in Category/Product Management with a consumer‐focused mindset and a strong understanding of the launch‐to‐consumer journey via the retailer.
* Have previous experience within the Consumer Appliances, FMCG, or Retail sector.
* You've worked on project management of commercial product launches and understand the end‐to‐end process.
* Possess a strong commercial and strategic mindset, keen on driving profitable sales growth.
* Hold a tertiary qualification in Business, Finance, Marketing or a related field.
* Have a proven history of delivering superior business results.
* Your passion for products and consumer‐driven innovation is evident in everything you undertake.
* Adaptable to change and thrive on new challenges.
