About the Role
We are looking for an Assistant Manager to lead and develop our team and support the Restaurant Manager with the smooth operations of the restaurant. You will lead teams, provide clear direction, coaching and support to prepare and serve amazing food and create memorable customer experiences through every interaction. You will use your strong business acumen and commitment to continuous improvement to optimise profit, create a positive culture and drive costs down whilst improving the customer experience and maintaining our high standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and develop the restaurant team
* Provide clear direction and coaching to ensure high quality service and product
* Support the Restaurant Manager with day-to-day operations
* Monitor and optimise profitability and cost controls
* Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene
* Foster a positive culture and drive continuous improvement
* Create memorable customer experiences and uphold brand standards
Qualifications & Experience
* Demonstrated management experience in the hospitality industry
* Strong commercial acumen and ability to translate direction into action
* Excellent multi-tasking skills in a fast-paced environment
* Ability to lead, inspire and support crew to perform at their best
* Commitment to continuous improvement and championing the customer experience
