Beach Hotel Byron is seeking applications from an experienced and passionate Chef to join our excellent kitchen team. Located in the heart of Byron Bay, the Beach Hotel is a vibrant coastal venue known for quality food, relaxed atmosphere and a strong team culture. About the Role As a Chef, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality meals while supporting smooth kitchen operations in a busy, fast-paced environment. Key Duties & Responsibilities Prepare, cook and present menu items to a high standard Ensure consistency in quality, taste and presentation Assist with menu planning and daily specials Manage food preparation, portion control and plating Maintain kitchen cleanliness and food safety standards Monitor stock levels, assist with ordering and minimise wastage Comply with WHS, food safety and hygiene regulations Work efficiently during peak service periods Support and train junior kitchen staff as required Collaborate with front-of-house for seamless service What We’re Looking For Proven experience as a Chef in a busy hotel or restaurant Strong knowledge of food safety and kitchen operations Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team Excellent time management and attention to detail Flexible availability including nights, weekends and public holidays What We Offer Supportive and friendly team environment Competitive salary based on experience Opportunity to work in a popular Byron Bay venue Long-term career development opportunities Click “Apply for this job” to register your interest in this fulltime salaried position with a starting salary $76K - $86K (plus super)
