* Salary range: $110k + super (dependent on experience)

Why this role?
You will bring expertise in health and safety legislation, ensuring compliance and identifying opportunities for improvement. Alongside this, you will work collaboratively across the organisation to embed a culture of accountability and care.
In this role, you will:
* Lead OHS policies, procedures, and programs, ensuring alignment with legislation
* Identify and mitigate workplace risks to ensure employee safety
* Provide expert advice to managers and staff on incident reporting, risk management, and return-to-work programs
* Lead OHS training, inductions, and workshops to promote a culture of safety awareness
* Investigate incidents and implement changes to improve safety outcomes
* Ensure pre-employment fit-for-work testing is conducted appropriately
* Track OHS performance and drive continuous improvement
* Champion wellbeing by promoting mental health awareness, resilience, and a safe working environment
What we're looking for
* Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Health & Safety or a related field
* Proven experience leading OHS programs in a complex environment
* Strong understanding of OHS legislation, compliance, and best practices
* Excellent communication skills, influencing and advising teams effectively
* Analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to find solutions and take action
* Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities
* A driver's license and willingness to travel across Dja Dja Wurrung Country
* Experience working with Aboriginal communities is highly desirable
