Job Title: Early Childhood Centre Cook
The role of Centre Cook at our ELC is to provide a nourishing and healthy food environment for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years. The ideal candidate will have experience in bulk meal preparation, online ordering, stock management, and budget control.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare and implement the nutritional content of menus
* Cook efficiently with the ability to follow a set menu
* Manage inventory and resources effectively
* Comply with relevant food safety and hygiene regulations
* Be able to cater for individual child requirements including allergies and specific dietary needs

Requirements:
* Current Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
* Current Food Safety Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
* Current First Aid Certificate including CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis training (or willingness to obtain)
* Experience or education within an early childhood setting will be highly regarded
Working Hours: Part-time position, Monday to Friday, 5 hours per day
