About the Role
We are seeking passionate and dedicated Disability Workers to support our clients with in-home care and disability support homes across various locations in Adelaide.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement individualized support plans in collaboration with clients, their families, and support teams.
* Provide assistance with daily living activities, including grooming, hygiene, meal preparation, and medication administration, as required.
* Support clients in accessing and participating in community activities, social outings, and recreational programs.
* Assist clients in setting and working towards their NDIS goals, including skill development, employment, and independent living.
The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal and communication skills, empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to make a positive impact in the lives of others.
Requirements
* Certificate III or IV in Disability Support or a related field (or currently studying towards).
* Current NDIS clearance or willingness to apply.
* Current National Police check or willingness to apply.
* Mental Health, Dementia, Nursing experience preferred.
* Strong ability to work independently and as part of a team.
