About Us
Possum Early Childhood Centre in Hazelbrook has a proud reputation for partnering with families and delivering high-quality early learning. We have recently expanded and are excited to grow our team. Surrounded by the beautiful Blue Mountains and just a short drive from Penrith, Possum ECC offers a nurturing, inspiring environment for both children and educators.
When children turn three, they transition to Possum ECC, which specialises in education for preschool-aged children (3-5 years).
At Possum ECC, our educators build strong relationships with children and create purpose-driven spaces that foster independence, curiosity, and holistic development. Our evidence-based practices include:

Key Responsibilities
👶 Provide nurturing, responsive care tailored to children
📜 Plan, document, and implement educational programs supporting each child’s milestones
🏡 Foster strong relationships with children and families
🔄 Engage in reflection, collaboration, and development to uphold best practices
🧑🏫 Mentoring educators to develop their skills and reflect as an early childhood professional
