The Communications Manager will provide strategic and tactical communications support to the Australian business, to support the growth of the business. You will connect in with the global team to share and leverage insights from other regions, and ensure all activities connect back to global business goals. You will provide communications advice on key projects and change initiatives, supporting our executive team to communicate with their people.
**You will add value to Gallagher Bassett across the following**:
- Manage the delivery of regular employee engagement activities to connect our leaders with our people 
- Support the administration of local intranet and provide strategic advice on how to increase usage 
- Support our leaders to effectively communicate with their stakeholders 
- Deliver high-quality, brand-aligned communication collateral in a timely manner 
- Report of campaign effectiveness 
- Develop and execute GB AU Communication Plans 
- Attend internal and external training courses to update technical knowledge and personal development 
- Build effective relationships with all stakeholder to improve internal and external communication through the identification of gaps in GB communication and build a communication framework to address and resolve these gaps.
**We're interested in hearing from people who possess**:
- Bachelor of Communications and/or at least 5 years' experience 
- Demonstrated experience of supporting executives to implement communication strategies 
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
- Adept at interpreting data to develop meaningful reports and strategies 
- Ability to confidently build relationships with all level of staff to achieve business goals 
- Development, execution and evaluation of integrated communication strategies 
- Administering / editing Intranet sites 
- Advising senior leaders / executives on communication strategies
