What you'll be doing
Provide optimum sterilisation services of hospital equipment and instruments within the Central Sterilising Service Department reflective of current infection control measures and in accordance with statutory requirements and Mid North Coast Local Health District policies and procedures.
About You
* You are a dedicated and reliable individual with a strong interest in developing your skills within sterilisation services. You either hold a Certificate III in Sterilisation Technology at TAFE or are willing to obtain it within the next two years, demonstrating your commitment to professional growth.
* You have a proven ability to perform routine tasks efficiently and consistently under routine supervision. Your steady work style and reliability make you well-suited to environments where structure, accuracy, and adherence to established procedures are essential.
* You bring sound computer knowledge and the capacity to learn programs commonly used within CSSD. Your willingness to adapt to new systems supports smooth workflow and effective teamwork.
* You show strong attention to detail and are comfortable undertaking repetitive tasks with care and precision. You understand the importance of accuracy and compliance in sterilisation work, and you approach each task with focus and responsibility.
