Airport Planning Analyst

We are investing in new infrastructure to support our airline partners and offer more services to new destinations. This includes expanding T1 International, building new domestic terminal facilities, a parallel runway, two multi-storey carparks, and an airport hotel.
The Perth Airport estate spans over 2100 hectares, featuring a $1.5 billion portfolio of industrial premises and vacant land holdings. We serve a diverse community, strengthening cultural, family, and social bonds while supporting business, tourism, and leisure travel.
We are currently looking for an experienced Aviation Research Forecasting and Data Analyst.
Your Responsibilities:
* Deliver data-driven insights to support strategic airport planning and decision making.
* Analyse aviation trends, forecast passenger and aircraft movements, model future growth scenarios, and manage dashboards that visualise performance metrics.
* Collaborate with internal teams and external consultants to scope and deliver analytical studies.
* Prepare reports for senior stakeholders, contribute to precinct planning documentation, and support business case development through robust data analysis.
What You Need:
* A tertiary qualification in data analytics, finance, business intelligence, or a related field, with solid post-grad experience.
* Proven skills in forecasting and data modelling, including financial analysis and scenario planning.
* Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, with a knack for turning complex data into clear, compelling visuals.
* Experience in market research and industry analysis, preferably within aviation or consulting environments.
* Strong communication skills, able to translate technical findings into actionable insights for diverse audiences.
