Disability Support Worker – Young Female Indian Background (Croydon NSW)
About the Role
We currently have an exciting opportunity for dedicated and caring Disability Support Workers who is a Young Female Indian Background to join our team at Yahweh Care.
These positions involve supporting participants through personal care, day activities, and community engagement.
The successful applicants will join a specialised, supportive team providing active, person-centred care focusing on individual needs, in-house activities, and community access.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide direct support to people with disabilities, including personal care and medication management
* Collect accurate data on participant engagement and progress
* Maintain and monitor person-centred support plans
* Support participants in skill development and community activities
* Work collaboratively within a team and independently in one to one support settings

Essential Selection Criteria
* Experience in Disability.
* Demonstrated experience supporting people with disabilities and managing heightened behaviours
* Strong ability to facilitate community engagement and skill-building activities
* Teamwork and independent work capabilities
* Current NSW Driver's Licence
* First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain within 1 month)
* NDIS Screening Check (or willingness to obtain before starting)

* Certificate III or IV in Disabilities (or other relevant qualification)
* Strong verbal and written communication skills - Indian Speak
