About The Opportunity:
You will play the lead role in developing and executing strategic trade marketing initiatives to elevate our brand in the retail space. You will work closely with sales, marketing, education, and retail teams to ensure that our products are effectively positioned, promoted, and merchandised across various retail environments. Your insights and creativity will be essential in driving both brand visibility and sales growth.
What you'll be doing:
* Visual Merchandising:
Work with partner suppliers and retailers to project-manage the end-to-end process of developing and maintaining best-in-class permanent installations to build brand presence and drive customer engagement and sales in the retail space.
* Retail Partner Relationships:
Build and maintain strong relationships with key retail partners, ensuring alignment on promotional activities and brand guidelines.
* Trade Marketing Calendar:
Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to develop and execute tailored trade marketing plans by retailer that align with commercial, brand, and category objectives.
* Promotional Campaigns:
Design and execute promotional programs, events, and POS initiatives that drive foot traffic, brand awareness, and product sales in retail stores.
* Budget Management:
Manage trade marketing and CAPEX budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and maximising ROI on marketing spend.
* Market Analysis:
Analyse sales data, customer feedback, and market trends to identify growth opportunities and areas for improvement in trade marketing initiatives.
What we're looking for
:
* Minimum of 3 years of experience in a senior trade marketing position or a similar role within the beauty, luxury, or consumer goods industry.
* Proven track record of project managing successful VM installations, trade marketing campaigns and retail partnerships (Myer & David Jones experience favourable)
* Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
* Creative thinker with an eye for detail and a passion for the beauty industry.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
