About the Opportunity
- Design and develop scalable, secure, and maintainable features for the HR Core platform
- Write clean, testable code and contribute to resolving complex technical issues
- Apply best practices including SOLID principles, design patterns, and modern dev methodologies
- Champion the use of AI tools to improve development workflows and efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in code reviews, troubleshooting, and technical problem-solving
- Contribute to improving CI/CD pipelines, deployment processes, and system reliability
- Share technical knowledge with peers and support onboarding of new team members
- Maintain high-quality documentation for system design and technical decisions
- Ensure strong test coverage and compliance with security and privacy standards
What we would like to see you bring to the team:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of demonstrated experience as a software engineer in an agile/scrum environment.
- Strong proficiency and 5+ years of experience in PHP.
- A strong foundation in core software engineering principles with an interest and ability to learn other frameworks and languages.
- Deep understanding of object-oriented programming, SOLID principles, MVC, and design patterns.
- Experience with cloud technologies, API design, microservices, and an understanding of Domain Driven Design.
- Proficiency with SQL databases and code versioning tools like Git.
- Understanding of fundamental design principles for building scalable and concurrent applications.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
