Your new role:
In this specialised clinical position, you will provide advanced nursing assessment and kidney care to patients requiring Peritoneal Dialysis.
Key responsibilities include:
* Delivering advanced assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of Peritoneal Dialysis care for patients with complex kidney conditions.
* Supporting the coordination of care with strong communication, safe documentation, and proficient EMR practice.
About you:
You are a dedicated and clinically capable nurse with strong problem-solving skills and a passion for delivering high-quality kidney specialist care. You bring leadership, accountability and a commitment to improving outcomes for patients with chronic kidney disease.
You will demonstrate:
* Advanced clinical knowledge and skills in kidney specialist nursing, including Peritoneal Dialysis.
* Commitment to evidence-based practice, quality improvement and reflective learning.

Logan Hospital is the major health centre for one of the fastest growing areas in Queensland. We offer a range of services, including medical, rehabilitation, maternity, surgical and paediatric care.
We offer our staff and students extensive support and training in most medical specialties. As a teaching hospital, we help train future health care professionals and participate in research through solid partnerships with Queensland's leading medical schools, universities, and TAFE Queensland.
Our services will continue to grow as we build bigger and better facilities to support the community. By 2027, we'll have more beds and 5 more birthing suites as part of the Logan Hospital expansion.
