Your new companyOur client, a prominent Government department, whose responsibilities and work have a long-lasting and genuine impact on the quality of life for all citizens in Victoria. Solution Architect would analyse exisiting application and define a roadmap for the implementation of modern, reliable and integrated business application environment.
Your new role As a Solution Architect you will be responsible for:Deliver architecture solutions with experience in design and implementation.Lead the design and delivery of application solutions, ensuring alignment with business requirements.Ability to incorporate different architecture layers in design. (business, information, application, technology).Ensured alignment with architecture governance frameworks and principles to lead and secure system design endorsement through the governance process.Evidence of effective stakeholder management (IT, Business and Vendor), engagement and communication.Leverage industry expertise, particularly in utilities, to drive informed and effective solutions.Define end-to-end solution architectures covering applications, data, integration, and infrastructure.Work with cross-functional teams to enable seamless deployment and support of solutions.Document architectural decisions, as well as solution and detailed architectures, ensuring all design elements are clearly captured for project stakeholders.Lead and coordinate architectural assessments during tender evaluation processes, ensuring proposed solutions align with organizational standards and strategic objectives.Act as a trusted advisor, recommending best practices and emerging technologies.
What you'll need to succeedMinimum 4 years of experience in architecture design and solution delivery.Certified in TOGAF, SABSA, or similar framework (required)Proven experience as a Solutions Architect and atleast 3 years of experience in application/software architecture.Knowledge of Microsoft .Net, Java, integration, database and SAP HANA platforms. High level of Technical expertise, combined with excellent planning and coordination. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.Design and oversee implementation of integration patterns
