Job Description
The Clinical Nurse Specialist – Infant Feeding role delivers high-quality primary healthcare in infant feeding, based on best practice principles and within a collaborative framework. This includes direct client care for families experiencing complex infant feeding challenges, as well as specialist support for staff in delivering infant feeding and undertaking community-focused events.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A minimum of two years' post-graduate employment in a clinical area directly applicable to infant feeding, with a demonstrated clinical knowledge and understanding of delivering effective infant feeding nursing care in the primary healthcare setting
* Demonstrated expertise in the theoretical and practical application of a range of effective community-based primary healthcare interventions relevant to infant feeding concerns, inclusive of breastfeeding, formula feeding, and early solids, with the ability to acquire further expertise into the future
* Experience and demonstrated knowledge and skills in relation to liaison and consultation with other services and agencies in the context of optimising effective and efficient service provision, advice, and training and continuity of care
