About Our Client
Our client is a mid-size company in the wholesale and distribution industry, providing high-quality products and services.
Job Description
o Prepare and manage financial reports, including budgets and forecasts.
o Assist the Chief Financial Officer with budget analysis and providing detailed commentary for stakeholders.
o Lead cash flow reporting and assist with the preparation of bank reconciliations.
o Oversee financial accounting activities and manage accounts payable and receivables.
o Ensure compliance with financial, taxation, and statutory requirements.
o Perform month-end balance sheet reconciliations, including inventory management.
o Undertake special projects, contributing to the development and optimisation of documentation and process improvements.
o Liaise with external auditors and support year-end audits.
o Manage the month-end close process, including the preparation and review of management reports.
The Successful Applicant
o CPA-qualified with a minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar accounting role.
o Strong technical accounting skills and the ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
o Hands-on approach with the ability to step in and take over responsibilities where necessary.
o Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills.
o Proven ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
o Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the business.
