Overview
Morgan Consulting is pleased to partner with one of our key clients exclusively as they look to secure their next Group Financial Controller. This newly created role will oversee global finance operations and play a critical part in shaping strategy, driving performance, and supporting the continued growth of a highly successful, privately-owned manufacturing business.
Reporting directly to the CFO, you will lead the finance team in Melbourne while managing offshore teams across multiple regions. You’ll be responsible for best-practice financial control, compliance, and reporting, while also providing strategic insights that guide executive decision-making across investment, growth, and operational priorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver consolidated financial reporting, compliance, audits, and governance across global entities.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, strategic planning, and business performance analysis.
- Manage treasury, cash flow, FX requirements, and intercompany transactions.
- Provide insights to support M&A;, investment, and long-term growth initiatives.
- Lead, mentor, and develop local and offshore finance teams.
- Drive continuous improvement and systems optimisation (D365, Power BI, Micropay).
About You
- 10+ years’ senior finance experience, ideally in manufacturing or industrial sectors.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and global financial operations.
- Proven leadership across both local and international finance teams.
- Advanced financial modelling, ERP, and analytical capability (D365 essential).
- CA/CPA qualified or equivalent.
