Overview
Town Square is an independent communications agency, based in Melbourne.
We are called Town Square because town squares are formidable places – where people come together, where ideas are shared, where change happens.
Working with a national and international client base, our agency team makes things happen for our clients.
We offer a full range of marketing communication services to a broad range of clients in travel and tourism, property, power tools, mining equipment, not-for-profit, government and beyond.
We have significant ambition for our creative product, recognising that better work is more rewarding for everyone involved and that our ability to grow depends heavily on our creative reputation.
We need a junior account manager to join our team – someone who enjoys working across all aspects of the communications process from start to finish including strategy, campaign delivery, collateral, lead generation, media and finance.
Job role
Working closely with more or less everyone at Town Square, you will manage our relationship with a small number of key clients.
In the first instance, your client responsibilities will be in the power tool and outdoor power equipment sector – and in the tourism category.
What makes you right for this role?
Preferably, you'll have about two years of experience in a communications agency under your belt.
You could be an experienced account executive ready to take that next step.
You need some fire in your belly – an enthusiasm for making things happen, an ability to take initiative, a talent for bringing teams together and a passion for the communications business.
You need to take pride and satisfaction in delivering great service.
We are looking for a confident candidate who has empathy, presence, strong presentation skills and an instinct for moving things forward.
We want someone who expects the best from themselves, without taking life too seriously.
