Acu-Tech Piping Systems is currently seeking a proactive and experienced Yard Coordinator to join our dynamic Transport team. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in keeping operations running smoothly and efficiently.
As the Logistics Yard Coordinator, you will play a key role in managing daily yard operations, ensuring efficient truck and trailer movements, overseeing inventory control, and maintaining a safe and organised yard. You’ll work closely with the transport and warehouse teams to support the timely execution of deliveries and collections.
* Key Responsibilities
o Coordinate daily yard operations, including truck movements and loading/unloading
o Manage storage space and maintain a clean, organised yard
o Schedule and oversee collections, deliveries, and time slot bookings
o Communicate effectively with internal teams, subcontractors, and customers
o Monitor stock levels, transfers, and inventory accuracy across sites
o Support general yard tasks, equipment upkeep, and staff training
o Ensure compliance with safety procedures and customer site requirements
o Provide professional, on-site customer service
To be successful in this role you must meet the following critical elements:
* Previous experience in logistics, yard coordination, or supply chain operations
* Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
