**Job Description**
* As a leader in the field of aged care, we are seeking an experienced General Manager to join our team. This pivotal role will be responsible for the overall leadership and management of our home, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care while fostering a positive and inclusive culture for residents, families, and staff.
* The successful candidate will lead operational excellence, drive continuous improvement, and maintain compliance with all regulatory standards. With a focus on strategic planning, team development, and community engagement, this role is key to sustaining a thriving and compassionate aged care environment.
**Key Responsibilities**
1. Deliver optimal business outcomes
2. Drive accountability across the team
3. Ensure that the Home is compliant with the Aged Care Accreditation standards
5. Provide strong leadership, coaching and development to engage and motivate a high-performance team
6. Manage a strong talent pipeline for the Home
**Requirements**
* Tertiary qualifications/degree, and postgraduate qualifications (highly regarded) in a relevant discipline
* Current, satisfactory police check
* Proof of the right to work lawfully in Australia
* Health and/or aged care experience as a senior leader (preferable)
* Demonstrated commercial acumen within a services environment
* Proven hands-on approach with a focus on customer service and leadership
* Demonstrated capability and experience in leading a multi-disciplinary team
* A robust approach to time management and a demonstrated ability to work within deadlines
* Proven track record in financial, human, and asset management
* Proven ability to implement change to achieve desired results and lead service assessment, planning, and implementation
* Knowledge of aged care funding (preferable but not essential)
* Knowledge of the application of federal, state, and local government regulations, statutes, acts as they pertain to all aspects of operating within the aged care sector (preferable but not essential)
* Highly developed interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
