About the Role
The Project Manager - Delivery role is responsible for planning, delivering and commissioning a range of integrated strategic, capital and operational projects that support the objectives of Council's community strategic plan and capital works plan.
This role will see you leading, coordinating and ensuring the delivery of Capital Works projects, from the project initiation phase, through to the delivery and commissioning of the asset. You will actively manage all aspects of any engaged contracts for the delivery of Council's assets, inclusive of all quality, schedule and commercial requirements.
You will build and maintain strong relationships with multiple internal and external stakeholders, contractors/ consultants and other government bodies, all whilst effectively managing projects within the capital works program.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will hold a tertiary qualification in Engineering, Surveying, Construction Management or relevant discipline, or an equivalent combination of relevant qualifications/ training, coupled with contemporary industry experience. You will have extensive, contemporary knowledge and demonstrated experience in project managing high-quality civic building projects, technical building services, restoration and improvement projects, on time and to budget.
Additionally, you will bring superior communication skills that are adaptable to communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders, including contractors and community groups.
You will hold a C Class drivers licence and a NSW Construction industry white card.
Benefits
This is a full-time, permanent position with a base salary of $88,510 to $98,246 per year based on demonstrated experience + 11.5% super.
