About the Job
This is a permanent full-time position working Monday to Friday, with one Saturday of overtime per month. As a Service Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating service schedules, handling customer inquiries, and ensuring efficient workflow processes are in place.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage service work schedules and prioritize tasks effectively
* Handle customer service-related queries and resolve issues promptly
* Create job cards and assist with customer invoicing and purchase orders
* Update customers on repair progress and rebook appointments as necessary
* Ensure technicians have completed repair orders accurately and efficiently
* Confirm customer authorization for repairs
* Maintain high-quality presentation standards for vehicles returned to customers
* Provide technical guidance and support to technicians and apprentices
Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will require:
* Prior experience in a similar service coordinator or related role
* Strong mechanical knowledge and automotive industry experience
* Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
* Sound computer skills, including Microsoft Office programs
* Excellent customer service skills and ability to work well in a team environment
* Availability to work a rotating Saturday roster
