We are seeking a skilled and compassionate individual to join our team as a Lifestyle Assistant in Unanderra. In this role, you will play a vital part in enhancing the lives of our residents by providing personalized lifestyle, social, and wellbeing services.
About the Role:
* Encourage resident choice and participation in activities such as bus trips, individual and group events, and community engagement initiatives.
* Assist in designing, delivering, and monitoring lifestyle services and activities that cater to residents' diverse needs and preferences.
* Implement innovative events and activities that promote social interaction, inclusion, and community involvement.
* Provide direct care to residents during activities, ensuring their safety and well-being.
* Support your colleagues in maintaining a collaborative and supportive work environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* A Certificate III or IV in Leisure and Health or Individual Support, or a similar qualification.
* Previous experience as a Lifestyle Assistant, with a proven track record of providing high-quality care.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with residents, families, and colleagues.
* A kind heart, genuine passion for caregiving, and commitment to respecting residents' values, customs, and spiritual beliefs.
