As a Salesforce Engineer, you will play a critical role in delivering our shared platform services to both AFL/Marvel and several clubs utilizing the platform. You will work closely with internal delivery teams, stakeholders, and delivery partners on solution design, build, implementation, and support of our flagship industry CRM solution across the AFL Ecosystem.
Your key responsibilities will include designing solutions that fulfill business requirements and functions, collaborating with delivery teams and stakeholders through different stages of delivery, building high-quality solutions with efficient testing and roll-out, and documenting technical solution designs.
To be successful in this role, you will need at least 4 years of experience in implementing Salesforce solutions, experience in solutioning and performing assessments on delivery options, and strong hands-on experience with various types of flows, CICD software development lifecycle processes, Jenkins, and Code Repository.
You will also need to have experience with metadata extraction, handling, and migration of all developments, including configurations, automations, packages, and any supported metadata, as well as best practices understanding on coding standards, Apex, LWC, and security implementations.
The ideal candidate will have extensive Salesforce implementation experience, understand when config over code and why, and possess strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle multiple task assignments and work independently.

A Day in the Life
Key Accountabilities:
* Design solutions that fulfill business requirements and functions.
* Solution with consideration of current tech and data landscape and long-term strategy.
* Provide solution estimate and phasing based on resources and dependencies.
* Collaborate with delivery team and stakeholders through different stages of delivery.
* Build high-quality solutions with efficient testing and roll-out.
* Develop custom applications, data model, LWC, trigger framework, and unit testing.
* Document technical solution design.
* Support production issues and requests, create Standard Operating Procedures.
* Manage bulk data query, creation, and update requests.
* Contribute to CRM team changes review, improving governance and best practice standard.
* Assist with Salesforce major release cycles and installed applications' new package releases.
* Other ad-hoc projects and responsibilities as required.

Core Competencies:
* At least 4 years of experience in implementing Salesforce solutions.
* Experience in solutioning and performing assessments on delivery options.
* Experience and knowledge of standard declarative capabilities such as data modeling, app builder, security, and sharing models and permission management.
* Strong hands-on experience with various types of flows.
* Hands-on experience of CICD software development lifecycle processes, Jenkins, and Code Repository.
* Hands-on experience in Apex, Lightning Web Components, Aura Components, Schedule, and Batch.
* Experience with metadata extraction, handling, and migration of all developments, including configurations, automations, packages, and any supported metadata.
* Best Practices understanding on Coding Standards, Apex, LWC, and Security implementations.
* Extensive Salesforce implementation experience, understanding when config over code and why.
* Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, and ability to handle multiple task assignments and work independently.
* Data Cloud experience strongly preferred.
