Your new role
As an ICT Network Administrator, you will be a key member of the ICT team, supporting a wide range of services including network infrastructure, server systems, unified communications, cloud and on-prem compute/storage, and cybersecurity. Your responsibilities will include ensuring network reliability, responding to incidents, maintaining asset registries, supporting structured cabling projects, and documenting system configurations. You will also collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to deliver high-quality ICT support and contribute to the success of critical national operations.
What you'll need to succeed
To thrive in this role, you will bring demonstrated experience in network administration, a solid understanding of core networking principles, and familiarity with Cisco technologies and IOS. You'll have the ability to interpret and update technical documentation, work independently or as part of a team, and communicate complex technical information effectively. You must be an Australian Citizen and eligible to meet US Export Administration Regulation requirements. A current driving licence is required. Desirable skills include experience with managed switches/firewalls, CAD programs, Windows system administration, and cybersecurity.
