Lofte provides a wide range of operational and commercial services within the maritime sector, and we are currently expanding our stevedoring operations teams in a range of ports across Australia.
Lofte Australia is seeking proactive, and experienced Crane Drivers to join our expanding stevedoring operation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Safely and efficiently load and unload cargo from vessels in accordance with industry regulations.
* Ensure timely, accurate handling of bulk, general, and project cargo across various ports.
* Collaborate closely with the clients, service providers and operations teams to maintain consistent results in port operations.
* Actively monitor cargo operations to identify potential challenges or inefficiencies.
* Always comply with all safety procedures and industry regulations.
* Support the implementation of new processes and technologies to improve operational efficiency.
Essential Criteria:
* 2+ years' crane driving experience. Ships crane experience preferred.
* 2+ years' experience in maritime, stevedoring or port operations.
* Strong understanding of safety protocols and cargo handling techniques.
* Previous experience with bulk, general, and project cargo operations.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
* Willingness to travel for operational needs as required.
