Senior Risk & Control Analyst
The Senior Risk & Control Analyst supports effective management of operational, compliance, and conduct risks across lending, credit cards, and sales finance lifecycle. This role provides risk and control expertise from origination through to collections, ensuring risks are identified, assessed, and mitigated in line with the organisation's Risk Management Framework and regulatory requirements.
Risk Management Responsibilities:
* Support implementation of the Enterprise Risk Management Framework and business risk governance processes.
* Facilitate and review ongoing RCSAs, ensuring risks and controls are accurate and aligned to risk appetite.
* Conduct key control testing, validate effectiveness, and help remediate gaps.
Incident Management Responsibilities:
* Investigate incidents and near misses, perform root cause analysis, and drive actions to closure.
* Support issue management by ensuring actions are defined, owned, and delivered on time.
Compliance and Regulatory Assurance:
* Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
* Work with Compliance and Legal to assess regulatory changes and support implementation.
Reporting and Governance:
* Prepare risk and compliance reports for leadership and committees, providing insights on trends, controls, and incidents.
* Maintain accurate risk registers, incident and issue logs, and control and obligation libraries.
Continuous Improvement:
* Support process improvements that reduce risk, simplify controls, and enhance customer experience.
* Provide risk advice on new products, credit policy changes, and operational improvements.
Requirements:
* Strong understanding of risk management frameworks and regulatory requirements.
* Ability to analyze data and identify trends and patterns.
