Shifts can range from a few hours during the day to 24-hour overnight care, providing the opportunity to get to know your clients and develop long-lasting and strong relationships and the chance to enjoy regular shift hours and the support of other regular carers working with the same clients.
You will be supported by our experienced Clinical team (Registered Nurses) and a dedicated Care Manager who oversees the set-up and development of care programmes for these clients and is the primary client and family liaison point.
You will have the opportunity to hone your skills and extend your training through our range of free education and training modules available, including additional training in disability support should you wish to cross-over into disability support provided through the NDIS.
Development opportunities also exist to grow into Lead Worker roles, Care Management roles and other roles within the organisation.

Your people skills are your biggest strength and will be put to great use in this role. You will be someone who gets on with a wide range of people and is able to interface confidently with the client and their involved family members (spouse, adult children, siblings etc).
You understand and naturally empathise with the needs of these of clients and have a genuine desire to make a difference in their lives.
You use initiative and innovation to constantly look at how you can improve the service we provide. You are highly reliable and committed, well presented and friendly with excellent spoken English.
