**Anaesthesia Opportunity in the Heart of Australia**
We are seeking a skilled Anaesthetist to join our team at Alice Springs Hospital, providing high-quality perioperative care in one of the most unique and rewarding clinical environments in Australia.
You will work across a vast catchment area, experiencing complex and diverse cases that are rarely seen elsewhere – with a strong focus on Indigenous and remote health.

About the Hospital
Alice Springs Hospital is a 183-bed teaching hospital, affiliated with Flinders University and Charles Darwin University.
The hospital serves as the major referral centre for Central Australia and is a leader in culturally sensitive and remote healthcare delivery.
The Anaesthetic Department comprises 4 Consultants and 6 GP Anaesthetists, with accreditation for two years of ANZCA training.
You will work within a multidisciplinary and collaborative team with strong links to Royal Adelaide Hospital, Flinders Medical Centre, and Royal Darwin Hospital.
What You Will Do
* Deliver comprehensive anaesthetic services across elective, emergency, and obstetric lists.
* Participate in ICU and emergency support when required.
* Supervise and mentor junior medical staff and medical students.
* Contribute to teaching, safety, and quality improvement initiatives.
About You
* Eligible for registration with AHPRA.
* Relevant experience in Anaesthesia.
* Interest in education, Indigenous health, and service improvement.
* Strong communication and cultural awareness skills.
