SENIOR AUDITOR – BRISBANE – PROFESSIONAL SERVICES FIRM (Job ID 1293) Are you a technically strong auditor looking to take the next step in your career? We are partnering with a well-established professional services firm with a strong presence across Queensland and Northern New South Wales, providing audit, tax, accounting and advisory services to privately-owned businesses, high-net-worth individuals, listed companies and not-for-profits. The Role: Lead and execute audit assignments across a diverse client base Prepare and review audit working papers and statutory financial reports Perform complex audit testing and risk assessments Prepare cash flow statements, management letters, and assist with special engagements (due diligence, internal audit, fraud reviews) Mentor and coach junior team members and contribute to workflow planning Build strong client relationships while ensuring work is delivered accurately, on time, and within budget About You: 4 years’ experience in audit and assurance CA or CPA qualified (or near completion) Strong technical knowledge of AUASB auditing standards and AASB / IFRS accounting standards Experience with a range of business structures and complex client groups Proficient in audit and accounting software (CaseWare, Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks) Excellent communication skills, proactive approach and strong client-facing ability Ability to manage priorities, deadlines and budgets effectively What’s On Offer: Genuine leadership opportunities and exposure to Partners Clear career progression pathway within a national and global network Diverse, technically interesting audit and assurance engagements Supportive team culture with a strong focus on mentoring Ongoing technical and professional development Work in a firm that values quality, accountability and collaboration Please note: This job is based in Australia therefore, only candidates who are permanent residents or citizens of Australia will be considered.
