Your high-volume AP experience is essential for a central team on the Gold Coast


Job Overview

This role has been created to join the AP team as a result of business growth, on a permanent basis.

You will report to the Finance Controller and work with a close-knit team to process and reconcile supplier invoices, manage payments to suppliers, and ensure timely and accurate payment processing.

* Coding and entry of supplier invoices in an accurate and timely manner
* Verification that all invoices are authorised in accordance with policies
* Clearance of accounts payable inbox daily, including responding to supplier emails
* Reconciliation of supplier accounts and review of queries
* Investigation and management of supplier invoice discrepancies, returns and credit notes
* Update and maintenance of supplier databases in a timely manner
* Creation of Purchase Orders based on internal requests
* Effective communication with internal staff and external suppliers
* Proof of delivery (POD) collection & tracking of freight services
* Brief expense tracking as directed
* Support with end-of-month functions


Key Responsibilities

The primary objective of this position will be to provide efficient and effective AP services. This will include:

1. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of supplier information
2. Processing and reconciling supplier invoices in a timely and accurate manner
3. Verifying authorisation of invoices in accordance with company policies
4. Communicating effectively with internal staff and external suppliers
5. Providing support with end-of-month functions


Requirements

We are seeking an individual who possesses strong attention to detail, intermediate skills in Microsoft Office, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to multitask and communicate effectively with team members. The ideal candidate will have the following skills:
