Job Title: Technical Support Specialist
This is a full-time, permanent position that provides first and second-level support for software applications and hardware. The role entails deployment of desktops, laptops, and mobile devices through the business.
About the Role
The IT Desktop Support Analyst will be responsible for providing technical assistance to employees with issues related to software, hardware, and business applications. This includes troubleshooting problems, escalating issues to appropriate resources, and following up to ensure resolution to customer satisfaction.
The successful candidate will have excellent troubleshooting skills, the ability to make fast and correct decisions in a fast-paced environment, and strong communication and documentation skills. They will also have a passion for technology and a willingness to continuously learn and develop their skills.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Provide first and second level support for software applications and hardware
* Deploy desktops, laptops, and mobile devices through the business
* Troubleshoot IT problems and escalate issues to appropriate resources
* Frequently review and update knowledge base articles on a regular basis
* Assist with mobile device and endpoint deployment using MDM tools
* Deliver user training on core technologies
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you will need:
* Existing experience in a help desk or IT support role
* Qualification with formal IT certifications preferred
