OverviewWe are seeking an experienced and passionate Business Development Manager to complement our sales teams and drive MICE Business.
In this role, you will report to and work closely with the Director of Sales to grow the MICE segments and contribute toward growth within the company.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills are essential for success in this role.
This is both a strategic and hands-on role.What You'll Be Doing (Duties & Responsibilities)Proactively seek out new business opportunities in the MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, Events) segmentBuild and nurture strong relationships with key clients, PCOs, and event organizersCreate compelling proposals and presentations that reflect client needs and Stamford's capabilities, in a timely mannerCollaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth event delivery and client satisfactionStay abreast of market trends and competitor activity to inform strategyConsistently meet and exceed revenue targets and performance KPIsWhat We're Looking For (Skills & Experience)Minimum 2 years' experience in a proactive sales role within hotel MICE or Conference centresA strong network and understanding of the Brisbane events marketExcellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skillsA self-starter with a genuine passion for hospitality and client serviceSomeone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environmentCulture & BenefitsOur 'Knight's Head' Logo is conceived from our founder Sir Stamford's family crest and symbolises the vision and strength that unify our company.
