Are you looking for a rewarding career with a great team? We’re seeking experienced Cleaners to join our team at Curtis Island on a Casual basis, starting June 2025 .
What’s the role?
As a Cleaner, you'll play an essential role in maintaining a safe, clean, and well-organized environment for the team and residents. Your responsibilities may include:
Industrial Cleaning
* Cleaning offices, first aid room, ablution/ shower blocks, and lunch/ crib rooms
* Rubbish removal and restocking lunchrooms & kitchenettes
* Chemical handling and adhering to safety procedures
* General cleaning and maintenance of communal areas
What do you need?
* Previous cleaning experience ideally in an Industrial environment (preferred but not essential)
* Physically fit to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen
* Self-motivated and capable of working both independently and as part of a team
* Current driver’s license and reliable transport (Early hours ferry commute required)
* Previous experience Bus Driving, highly desirable (and associated
qualifications
)
* Gladstone local (preferred), no FIFO
