Adelaide Early Learning is an experienced Child Care provider but is brand new in the Adelaide region - we are looking for a leader to truly make a difference in the Adelaide community

Working alongside a fantastic Regional Support Manager, your role will be to quickly become part of the Community by leading an exceptional Long Day Care Centre in Athelstone.
This is an opportunity to help support, design and deliver an amazing quality early learning service, supporting and building a team of dedicated professionals who will make a meaningful impact on the lives of children, families, and educators in Athelstone and surrounds.
About the Role
As the Centre Director you will be responsible for the operational excellence, safety, and people leadership of Adelaide Early Learning.
You will help to ensure that Adelaide Early Learning becomes known quickly as a leader in early childhood education through our positive community engagement and high-quality programs
Key Responsibilities
Operational Excellence
Deliver high-quality early childhood services that values children, families and educators while meeting regulatory standards.
Build, support and guide a team to execute Adelaide EL values and objectives alongside the Adelaide Regional Support Manager.
Implement policies and procedures in compliance with regulations and Adelaide EL standards.
Oversee service presentation standards
Safety & Compliance
Champion Adelaide EL safety framework to maximise the wellbeing of children and staff.
Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and resolve any issue effectively.
Foster a collaborative and inclusive culture, inspiring a diverse team to achieve shared goals.
Mentor and support staff through professional development and engagement initiatives.
Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to enhance Adelaide EL reputation and culture.

Candidates must hold valid Australian work rights including Australian citizenship, permanent residency, or appropriate working visas.
Essential Qualifications & Experience
Proven experience in a similar leadership role within early childhood education or childcare services.
Working knowledge of government funding and requirements.
Demonstrated experience managing culturally diverse teams.
Either a diploma or bachelor's degree in early childhood education or related field is required.
