The Opportunity
Our client is a dynamic government practice, specialising in employment law. Joining this department, will see you become part of a highly sought after team amongst leading and well‑regarded practitioners in the employment law space. This is an opportunity for an experienced Workplace Lawyer to work across a broad range of matters dealt by the team. Your role will include dealing with both internal and external clients and a mix of front‑end advisory and litigious work, in particular you will be exposed to public sector employment law and the Queensland Industrial Relations system.
About You
You have a minimum of 4 years PQE and up to 8 years PQE in Employment Law. You will have demonstrated experience in Industrial Relations and Employment Law, ideally gained in a law firm environment. You will be familiar with Queensland public sector employment law. You will be passionate about your area of expertise and have the ability to mentor junior lawyers in the team, whilst also dealing with competing deadlines.
