About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Bid Strategy Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the preparation of strategic bids that comply with established bidding processes.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in bid management, with experience in developing and implementing bid strategies that meet sales targets and company policies.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement bid strategies that align with sales targets and company policies;
* Ensure the preparation of high-quality bids that meet client requirements;
* Manage bid budgets and timelines to ensure successful project delivery;
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate potential risks and issues;
* Provide regular updates to stakeholders on bid progress and outcomes;
* Continuously improve bidding processes and tools to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements
* Engineering degree or equivalent technical/project management experience;
* 7+ years' experience in bid management, with a focus on complex/high-value bids;
* Relevant market and technical knowledge;
* Extensive knowledge and experience of pricing, costing, and commercial contracts;
* Financially literate;
* Well-honed negotiation skills;
* Highly developed stakeholder management skills;
* Excellent communicator with an ability to positively influence outcomes;
* Knowledge of software tools and technical systems;
* Outstanding planning and organisational skills.
